PepsiCo is a household name in India since 1989 with brands like Pepsi, Lay’s, Kurkure, Tropicana 100%, Gatorade and Quaker. PepsiCo India has 37 beverage bottling plants and 3 food plants. Pepsico India started D&I initiatives in 2013-14. Under Inclusion, it launched a social campaign Mind Bugs (mind-sets on gender stereotypes). Using an innovative format, street plays, they built awareness on gender bias across India (14 locations, 9 languages). Externally, PepsiCo hosted Mind Bugs at Global Business Park (30+ corporate houses) and Raahgiri Day in Gurgaon (supported by Gurgaon Police).
