India's first corporate street theatre festival using employee art skills to raise social consciousness

Corporates on the street, India's first corporate street theatre festival, taps the passion of corporate employees for art and social relevance. Employees today want what they do to have meaning, and what better way than to support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals? V4V-COTS allows corporate teams to channel art into social awareness. Season 1 is co-hosted by PepsiCo India.

Season 1

The theme of Season 1 of V4V-COTS is MIND BUGS, stereotypes and biases at the workplace. Mind Bugs is the name of the very successful campaign run by Be.artsy for PepsiCo India to sensitise employees all over India to gender bias and sexual harassment at the workplace. PepsiCo India now wants to share this concept to other companies through V4V-COTS.

Company teams of 10-15 employees can develop a street play on the mind bugs they want to sensitise people to. The play would be performed both within their own company and to outside groups like local communities. A friendly contest for 'best team' will be held in Gurgaon DLF Cyber Hub in February 2016, where the teams will show off their prowess to their peers and eminent street theatre judges.
